PROJECT
Loop Collaboration Studio is creating professional and social integration strategies for people seen as social minority groups in developing regions. The studio is working towards artistic collaboration between the creative industry and producers from social minority groups.
Loop Collaboration Studio’s ‘Human Power’ socks have been developed in partnership with retired women from Lithuania, whose traditional craft in the form of knitting is embraced and cherished. The product lives up to its own message, as the studio takes care of the project’s visual language and media channels, allowing it to have a place within the (contemporary) fashion market.
TASK
Develop a visual identity for the first project of a new and upcoming studio including packaging, a two-part magazine, flyers, a business card as well as a banner for the opening of ‘Human Power’ project. Also, create a logo for the Loop Collaboration Studio.

As the product is carrying a strong message. The choice was made to strip the visual language of anything unnecessary that the main elements would clearly point to the present story behind the product.
Every pair of ‘Human Power’ socks identifies the ‘Looper’ who produced it.
The slogan ‘Human Power’ stands for change and the development of society through inclusivity.
Manifesto of Loop Collaboration Studio
Believes in life - Craftsmanship - Human well being - Human values - Sharing - Human power to change.

Two magazines were designed to introduce the strategy of the brand, main principles and activities. The publications discuss the social minority representation and position in the media as well as in the fashion industry.
The relevance of the discussion and views expressed called for clarity and boldness of the design and visual language to match it.

The logo of the project needed to translate the studio’s collaborative and continuous ideology into a sensitive and approachable mark. The incentive was taken from the creator of Loop Collaboration Studio Ieva Užkuraitytė’s narrative of collaboration and community building through the visual of a string.
Stages Of Knot
Intuition / Sharing the knowledge / New concepts / Physical results
Segments share similar knowledge but are independent of each other. As they meet knowledge is exchanged. Through sharing ideas new concepts arise. With achieved results segments form a connection. The knot becomes a crossroad for new directions and possibilities. Segments form new connections and a net that grows wider.
